Compassionate Support for Substance Use: Find Your Path to Balance and Recovery
I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to my work with individuals facing addiction. With over 10 years of experience in Addiction Medicine, I’ve seen firsthand how substance use can impact lives and relationships. On a personal level, my grandfather and aunt’s struggles with alcoholism—and the ripple effects on my family—gave me an understanding of how addiction and codependency can shape family dynamics. My grandfather’s seven years of sobriety were a testament to the strength it takes to make a change, and I witnessed how untreated issues, like Codependency and those faced by Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA), can carry into the next generation.
In therapy, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to explore patterns of substance use and their roots. Whether it’s alcohol, drugs, or other substances, we’ll work together to understand what’s driving the behavior and create tools for healthier coping. My approach isn’t about one-size-fits-all solutions; it’s about tailoring a plan that aligns with your goals—be it 12-step recovery, Non-12-step recovery, Harm Reduction, or a deeper understanding of your patterns—and your values.
If you’re feeling stuck in a cycle of over-reliance or self-medicating to manage stress, know that change is possible. Let’s start building a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling, personally and professionally. Together, we’ll uncover what drives your patterns and create lasting strategies for thriving.
